Directions

There are three major airports that serve the Washington, DC, metro area, Reagan National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Taxicab or Supershuttle transportation from these airports to the hotel are the most convenient.

Reagan National is the closest to the DTM campus and Holiday Inn hotel. The most convenient way to get from this airport to the hotel is via Metrorail. Follow the instructions below:

• Go to the National Airport metro station.
• Take the Blue Line towards Largo Town Center metro station.
• Exit train at the Metro Center metro station.
• Take the Red Line towards Shady Grove.
• Arrive at the Friendship Heights metro station.
• Exit station and walk .24 miles North to hotel.

Van Service between hotel and DTM:

There will be van service from the Holiday Inn-Chevy Chase hotel to the DTM campus for the team meeting. The vans will run at the following times or intermittently as needed:

• 19 June
  
      7:50 a.m., 8:50 a.m. and 9:20 a.m.
      5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.


• 20 June
  
      7:50 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.
      5:40 p.m. to hotel (1 block walk from hotel to restaurant) and 6:00 p.m. to team dinner from DTM


• 21 June
  
      7:50 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.
      12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Parking on the DTM Campus:

The parking area behind the Greenewalt Building will be reserved for meeting participants. (See Parking area behind Building #1 on campus map.) If this area fills up, there is other available parking on campus (See road to the left of Building #1 on campus map) or on Jocelyn Street.

Directions to Indique Heights (Team Dinner) from Holiday Inn-Chevy Chase:

• As you exit the hotel, turn right and walk up Wisconsin Avenue.
• When you get to the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Willard Avenue,
  cross the street to the left.
• This street is Wisconsin Circle.
• The restaurant sits between Wisconsin Circle and Western Avenue,
  above the Friendship Heights Metro Station.
• Go up the escalator to Indique Heights.

• Left onto Jocelyn Street.
• Left onto 32nd Street.
• Right onto Nevada Avenue.
• Left onto Military Road.
• Right onto Western Avenue.
• Left onto Wisconsin Circle.
