Carnegie Fellow Ford Departs DTM Print E-mail
Thursday, 31 March 2005

Carnegie Fellow K. E. Saavik Ford departed in March. She concludes her work on the dynamics of cometary systems and the detection of deuterated formaldehyde as it relates to cometary systems, along with other projects including work with Sara Seager on the capabilities of the Atacama Large Millimeter Array. Together with former postdoctoral associate Nader Haghighipour, Ford served as a mentor for 2004 intern Abby Fraeman, whose work reached the finals of the 2005 Intel Science Talent Search. Ford is now shifting her focus toward science writing and science policy.
