Conel Alexander and John Chambers were featured in online articles last week, commenting on their work in astrobiology and their involvement with AbSciCon 2006—attended by many DTM staff and postdocs—held in Washington, DC, March 26-30. Alexander comments on the origin of life on Earth in an April 3 Palm Beach Post article, entitled, “Some scientists think humans descended from Martian microbes.” Chambers speaks about the dynamics of terrestrial planet formation in an April 5 release, “We’re going on a planet hunt,” on AAAS’ EurekAlert! news site.
