Astronomers at the IAU XXVI General Assembly in Prague declared today that Pluto is no longer a planet under historic new guidelines that downsize the solar system from nine planets to eight. The former ninth planet in the solar system is now considered a "dwarf planet." DTM’s Alan Boss commented on the decision today at 12:30 p.m. (EDT) on CNN.
