Hannah Jang-Condell arrived in September to begin her term as a postdoctoral fellow in the astronomy group. Jang-Condell’s work deals with radiative transfer models of circumstellar disks that include the temperature variations caused by shadowing and illumination effects around growing planets. During her time at DTM Jang-Condell will extend her modeling efforts and integrate the latest observations of disks and planets.
