Postdoctoral fellow Eugenio Rivera departed DTM in September. Astronomer Rivera’s work at DTM focused on the study of the orbital dynamics and stability of extrasolar planetary systems and the search for regions in these systems which could harbor terrestrial planets. In addition, Rivera performed dynamical fits to radial velocity data of stars which host extrasolar planetary systems and N-body simulations of the last stage of terrestrial planet formation.
