Steven Golden joined DTM as the new Seismic Field Technician at the beginning of March. Previously he worked as a Research Associate at Frankfurt University—where he also received his M.Sc. in geophysics—analyzing long-period magnetotellurics data collected in Iceland. Golden is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in this field, which he plans to complete this year. At DTM, he will work with the seismology group installing and maintaining field instruments, and also hopes to contribute directly to the group’s current research.
