Predoctoral Fellow Ben Hood, currently a student at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, arrived at DTM in November to work with Sara Seager on extrasolar planet atmosphere modeling. Hood hopes to stay at DTM for at least a year—or enough time to finish his Ph.D. research. Originally from Arkansas, Hood did undergraduate research on eclipsing binary stars at the University of Arkansas.
