Cooper Goes to the National Science Foundation Print E-mail

Carnegie Fellow Catherine Cooper will be leaving DTM on July 27 to take a position at the National Science Foundation as a program director for the EarthScope program. While at DTM, Cooper developed models for the influence of continents on mantle convection and global thermal history. She also worked on constraining the thermal and mechanical characteristics of cratons and the relation between magma conduit geometry and volcanic eruptive style.
