Robert Rubin, husband of Senior Fellow Vera Rubin, passed away on 18 January. A service was held at Temple Sinai in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, 23 January, with many DTM employees in attendence. A physicist, Rubin received his Ph.D. at Cornell University, and held positions at the National Institute of Standards and Technology—formerly the National Bureau of Standards—and the National Institutes of Health.
