DTM’s 2010 Summer Scholars arrived at DTM last week for a two-month visit. Ben Horkley, a recent graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Washington, DC, will be working on seismology and geophysics questions with field seismologist Steven Golden. Byron Kelly, a 2010 graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland, will be studying seismic discontinuities in the upper mantle with Carnegie fellow Nick Schmerr, and Jennifer Moses, of Franklin and Marshall College, will be collaborating with Alycia Weinberger to examine the stellar system HD 34700.
