The 42nd annual meeting of the Division for Planetary Sciences of the American Astronomical Society will take place Sunday, October 3, to Friday, October 8, 2010, in Pasadena, CA. DTM participants include Alan Boss, Erik Hauri, and Scott Sheppard. Boss will be speaking about “Formation of Giant Planets by Disk Instability on Wide Orbits Around Protostars with Varied Masses.” Hauri will present on “Hydrogen Isotope Similarity of the Earth and Moon Revealed by Water in Lunar Volcanic Glasses.” Sheppard will give a talk as well on “A Southern Sky and Galactic Plane Survey for Bright Kuiper Belt Objects”. DPS is committed to enriching educational experiences for students, teachers, and the general public in the multiple disciplines of planetary science and supporting disciplines of math and technology.
