Former DTM Hubble Fellow and current Visiting Investigator Mercedes López-Morales’s work on the detection and characterization of extrasolar planet atmospheres was featured on Spanish national television. The weekly science show Tres 14, which aired during prime time on 7 and 11 November, was taped in September shortly after López-Morales’s new appointment as a Research Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council's Institute for Space Science in Barcelona.
