Update #6 - April 2006

Oregon Public Broadcasting is preparing an episode for "Oregon Field Guide" on the High Lava Plains project to be aired on television in the Fall. The general idea is to have a befor and after overview of the research. Jenda Johnson, Anita Grunder and Kaleb Scarberry spent three days showing Jim Newman (writer and producer and Nick Fisher (videographer) around the High Lava Plains, including outcrops and vistas. Matt Fouch did a heroic job getting there for a day and showing off the ARS site seismic installation in the driving snow. Fouch also serviced 2 of the HLP seismic stations and replaced 1 digitizer during this visit.
