Understanding the Causes of
Continental Intraplate Tectonomagmatism:
A Case Study in the Pacific Northwest

Maxwell Okure PDF Print E-mail
Maxwell Okure is a PhD student at the University of Oklahoma. His principal research interest is using potential field methods (gravity and magnetics) and seismology to investigate the structure and composition of the continental lithosphere, constrained by geology and geochemistry. Maxwell currently works with Randy Keller on the geology and geophysics of the High lava Plains of Oregon and parts of northwest United States. He is also working on seismic attributes analysis of industry type 3D seismic data from Birch Creek, Wyoming. His interests span a range of scales of observations and are primarily concerned with interpreting various geophysical data and exploring the benefits of integrated data analyses in structural and compositional character studies.
