My
research interests are focused on using earthquake
seismology to study tectonics. I am specifically
interested in crustal and upper mantle structure,
subduction zone processes, and seismic anisotropy.
My dissertation work focused on studying the
impact of flat slab subduction on the evolution of
the North and South American Cordillera and I am
continuing to study active tectonics throughout
the Americas.
