Scott S. Sheppard

I am a faculty member at the Carnegie Institution of Washington's Department of Terrestrial Magnetism (DTM) in Washington, D.C. My interests are in the history and formation of solar systems. To explore this broad topic I have been doing research on small bodies of our solar system and looking at young stellar objects and brown dwarfs to see how new solar systems may form.
